CAMPING REPAIR Kit

This kit was assembled primarily for wilderness canoe expeditions. Most bits and pieces are stuffed into the 2 orange containers; all items are then carried in the clear baja bag.  

It was used as a demonstration skill for ORCA Guide Certification and most recently, for repairing a broken carrying yoke on the Thirty-Mile River.

CYCLING
Note: We tried unsuccessfully to transport bikes outside our camper on a rear receiver hitch and inside stored flat on beds and dinettes. Our solution has been to travel with fold-able bikes stored securely in the crew seat of the truck.

Outfitting ... ' To furnish oneself with an outfit. '

We did the majority of outfitting for the 2012 Thirty Mile / Yukon Rivers trip. We planned, shopped for, dehydrated, prepared, assembled, packed, transported and cooked (some of) the meals for a large group of canoeists. In addition to the group food requirements, I have also detailed the gear that two paddlers would carry on a typical trip.
